We provide a secure, caring and stimulating learning environment where every child has the opportunity to develop his or her aptitudes and abilities to the full. There is a strong emphasis on early numeracy and literacy skills through all the areas of learning. We aim to establish positive partnerships with parents to enhance children's learning and well-being.

The Nursery and Reception classes form the Early Years Unit within the Foundation Phase department of the school. Children from both classes will work and play together. The children will choose from a wide range of learning experiences with a strong emphasis on learning through play.

In Early Years, the children will be engaged in relevant, child centred learning experiences both indoors and outdoors. Within an inclusive environment we promote an ethos of care through respect for oneself, respect for each other and respect for the environment.

We take pride in creating a happy, safe and secure environment in which all children can develop their full potential thus providing a caring atmosphere in which personal development can flourish.

Reception daily session time: 8.50am - 3.00pm

Nursery daily session time: 8.50am - 11.30am
